Founder, CEO & Principal
By profession a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years’ experience in business and education Mr Passmore leads the dedicated Passmores’ Team. With absolute dedication he aims to motivate and educate today’s young people. Mr Passmore coaches and actively manages the College as a whole. He is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and a Fellow of the Commercial Education Society of Australia. Mr Passmore has a firm belief that everyone has the potential for success. Here at Passmores College he oversees the nurturing of that potential by encouraging all to honour ‘In Pursuit of Excellence’. Known to many students as ‘Mr P’ - he is a wealth of knowledge and never too busy to lend a hand in helping you understand and achieve your very best.
Founder & External Academic Consultant
As an External Academic Consultant, Pamela Passmore finds all her former academic training to be invaluable as her real criteria for curriculum development is market driven. With a BA (Hons) from the University of Newcastle and as a Fellow of both the Australian Marketing Institute and the Commercial Education Society of Australia, Mrs Passmore has a love for education and is also currently reading her PHD. Now over a quarter of a century later she still believes that an education at Passmores’ leads students to successful and rewarding careers.
Financial Manager & Director
Working at Passmores’ for over 15 years, Nicholas Passmore is the acting Financial Manager / Director at the college. In addition to his role as bursar, Nicholas prepares all budgets and financial reports for Passmores’ and manages student payment plans and scholarships. With a Bachelor of Commerce, Nicholas has already obtained an Associate status with the National Institute of Accountants and an Advanced Diploma of Accounting with Distinction. Nicholas helps the students with the financials for their event planning, and has become a valuable part of the Passmores’ community.
Academic & Compliance Manager
Relevant studies, workplace experience and extensive world travel enables Jaylene Trovato to utilise her skills and passion at Passmores College. Jaylene has experience in Project Management, Compliance, Recruitment and Human Resources through employment with Language Learning Organisations, Group Training Organisations and Recruitment Agencies. Jaylene has a Bachelor of Social Science (IRHR) from UON and is currently completing a Bachelor of Laws through UNE. She has also lived and worked in Canada for 4 years followed by extensive travel around our globe.
Specialisation Course Manager / Trainer & Assessor
Tarra Gow joined the Passmores team in 2013 and is an enthusiastic and committed teacher who is passionate about training and developing her students. Prior to Passmores, Tarra worked for over six years with a legal firm in the Newcastle area where her specialist expertise included managing and training staff, liaising with legal and government authorities, clientele interaction and undertaking legal support for a number of practitioners. As a Passmores graduate herself, Tarra is sensitive to the needs of students. She has a keen insight into student life and understands the determination and drive a student must possess to achieve their potential. Tarra is always keen to help motivate and inspire students to achieve their goals.
Our Receptionist is always a friendly face as students, staff and clients walk through the front door. Our Receptionist is responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions of the office, working closely under the supervision of the Specialisation Course Manager. Responsibilities include assisting the teachers and students as required, diary management, reception and marketing support. Our Receptionist is a valued member of our team.
