Celebrating National Skills Week with Student Success – Day 2

National Skills Week recognises, celebrates and informs students and the wider public of the diversity, benefits and achievements associated with Vocational Education and Training (VET).
Passmores College is celebrating by showcasing a student success story for each day of this exciting week.

Student Success Story – Shani King

Shani attended Passmores College in 2014, studying a Diploma of Business with a specialisation certificate in Professional Administration/Real Estate and has had great success since.

What is your current role?
I am currently a Legal Secretary at Nash Allen Williams and Wotton, a Central Coast Law Firm. My role includes providing support to the Solicitors and other secretaries as well as being the “Front of house” and ensuring clients are happy and comfortable within our firm, I am the only staff member in the reception area which http://premier-pharmacy.com/product-category/weight-loss/ means that all clients speak to myself first.

What do you love most about your job?
The best thing about my job is the freedom and support my employees offer me whilst I am completing my University degree. (Criminology and Criminal Justice degree with Griffith University). Every day is different and there is always something to learn.

How did Passmores help you prepare for your role?
I owe my career to Passmores, I would not have my job without Passmores and the skills and knowledge they provided. Passmores provided me with the knowledge needed to complete daily tasks efficiently with minimal stress, and not a day goes by where I do not use what I learnt at Passmores.

We are very proud of Shani and the success she has experienced.
